"I work hard on advocacy for early childhood issues."

Kerri Nolan

Director
Kerri Lynn's Child Care Center

"The Illinois Director Credential has opened the door to explore many new early childhood opportunities in my field."

Kerri was awarded the Level I Illinois Director Credential in May 2000 and advanced to receive the Level II credential in May 2003. She has been the Director of Kerri Lynn's Child Care Center for 16 years.

Kerri got her start in the early childhood field when she began a small pre-school for the surrounding communities when her daughter was 3 years old. Her program grew and about 8 years ago she expanded and became a full-time day care and also opened a Before and After-School program.

Some of Kerri's professional contributions to the field include being an active member of the local Joliet Early Childhood Association. She is also a member of the Illinois Association for the Education of Young Children and sits on their Public Policy committee. Along with these two distinctions, Kerri is also a hard-working advocate for early childhood issues.

Kerri is the proud mother of 5 children.
