Lacey Buss was awarded the Level I Illinois Director Credential February 2007.
She is the Director at Christian Child Care Inc., Lincoln, IL. She has held
that position for 3 1/2 years.
“My love for children started at age 9 when I began unsupervised babysitting of
my then 1-year old neighbor. Looking back, I must have either been really
responsible, or that parent must have been crazy to let me watch her infant at
that age! From that point on, I was always found myself working with children.
I graduated from Lincoln Christian College with my Associate’s in Early
Childhood. My education did not stop there, as I have always sought out
professional development opportunities, including the Illinois Director
Credential, and intend to pursue my Bachelor’s Degree soon. My heart is in
administration, seeking to improve the quality of childcare for children in
programs I work in.”
