"I have a passion for working with children and trying to make a positive difference in their lives."

Sharon Becker

Program Coordinator
McLean County Community Compact

"I think the I.D.C. is a great way to push people to step up to the next level in their profession while also rewarding them for the things they have accomplished."

Sharon was awarded the Level I Illinois Director Credential in October 2003. She is the Program Coordinator of the McLean County Community Compact.

"I am currently the Program Coordinator for the McLean County Community Compact where I work to build partnerships between businesses and education. Previously, I was an I.D.C. counselor for INCCRRA, a teaching assistant, a preschool director and a residential treatment specialist at the Baby Fold in Bloomington, which services behaviorally disordered and emotionally disturbed children. I have a passion for working with children and trying to make a positive difference in their lives.

"I have been married for 24 years to Tony and have three children. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, traveling, long walks, and spending time with friends."
