Infant Toddler Credential
The Infant Toddler Credential (ITC) will be a voluntary credentialing program
that validates skills necessary for those working with infant and toddlers. The
credential will be awarded at five levels, and build upon the Early Care &
Education Core Knowledge Credential at Level 2 and above. Credential awards
will be based on achievement of skills, experience and knowledge in infant
toddler practices within the early care and education profession. The ITC
builds on the seven core knowledge areas of Gateways to Opportunity, in
addition to validating competency with infants and toddlers.
