PDA Research

The Illinois Network of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (INCCRRA) has concluded a two-year research study, with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, focused on an effective statewide advisement model for early care and education practitioners in Illinois.

The research, conducted from 2007 to 2009 by the Family Resiliency Center and supported by Lilian Katz, examined the Gateways to Opportunity Professional Development Advisement (PDA) Program. The research study was funded by: Grand Victoria Foundation and The W. Clement and Jessie V. Stone Foundation. Additional support was provided by Illinois Department of Human Services Bureau of Child Care and Development and INCCRRA. The research and report was conducted by Angela R. Wiley, PhD and Samantha King, MS, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Family Resiliency Center.
