Whether you would like support selecting coursework, developing a career plan, or exploring ECE professions, a PDA can help. Each trained PDA has easy access to educational and financial resources to support you on your journey through career development or higher education.
You can utilize a PDA’s expertise for as little as one hour—or for as long as you need help making progress toward your career goals. This service is free. PDAs can provide assistance in the following areas:
- Exploring careers in early care and education
- Creating a professional development plan
- Providing guidance in building a professional portfolio
- Locating available courses and professional development opportunities in your area
- Letting you know about different early care and education credentials and their requirements
- Sharing resources for financial assistance to be used for coursework or training
- Coaching you on how to find the information you need to accomplish your goals
- Finding help with basic English or math skills, or support for learning the English language
PDAs are experienced veterans in the field of early care and education. PDAs have ready access to:
