The Gateways Infant Toddler Credential (ITC) is for early care and education professionals who have specific training, formal college education, and experience working with children birth to age 3. In order to earn an ITC, you also need to meet the requirements for and obtain a Gateways ECE Credential. You can work toward these two Credentials at the same time.
To start a Gateways Credential application, there are 3 steps:
- Log into your Gateways Registry here - registry.ilgateways.com/login. A paper application is also available, click here.
- Select Gateways Credentials in the "Apply" section. Click the "Apply Now" button to create a new application.
