Assistant teachers

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the supervision, care, and education of children in accordance with center policies and state regulations.

Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.

Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.

Foster respectful, responsive, and positive relationships with children, families, and team members.

Assist with daily routines such as meals, toileting, rest time, and transitions.

Observe and document children’s behavior and development to support assessments.

Communicate regularly and effectively with the Lead Teacher and administrative staff.

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.

Attend staff meetings and required trainings or professional development sessions.
