Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating lesson plans
Meet with teaching team on assigned weekly planning
Supervises and interacts with children during free play, group times, outdoors, rest time, and meals.
Shares responsibility for clean-up after all classroom activities.
Prepares classroom activities ahead of time.
Attends annual Parent Orientation in early fall.
Attends parent meetings.
Participate in family events which may extend beyond the regular day.
Attends 20-hours of in-service training programs which must include CPR and First-Aid 0-6-year-old children.
Preschool teachers participate and attend annual Preschool graduation.
Attend Parent-Teacher Conference.
Responsible for one's own professional development.
Works cooperatively with co-workers
Maintains a warm and friendly attitude
Complete all required paperwork for Head Start children and families
Participate in referral and staffing process
