Montessori Preschool Director

The role is responsible for leading and maintaining the overall quality and vision of MKU, ensuring alignment with NAEYC standards and the school’s dual Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophy. This position actively supports enrollment growth by promoting the value of a premium MKU education, managing the full enrollment process through LineLeader, conducting tours, and maintaining strong follow-ups with prospective families. Operational responsibilities include overseeing payroll, tuition billing, accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining strict budget control. The role also ensures full compliance with Illinois DCFS licensing, safety regulations, and maintains proactive relationships with regulatory agencies. In addition, this position recruits, trains, and mentors high-quality teaching staff, fostering a professional and nurturing team culture. Oversight of curriculum implementation ensures a stimulating learning environment that effectively integrates Montessori and Reggio Emilia practices.
